Pegasus submissions are open to all regular submissions.

Pegasus is a regional journal that publishes only high school and undergraduate students currently enrolled in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, or South Carolina high schools, colleges, and universities as well as alumni, faculty, and staff of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Georgia.

Pegasus welcomes and encourages submissions by women, minorities, and other traditionally-underrepresented groups.

Student writers in Alabama, Florida, and South Carolina are a part of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College's unique "Neighbor Waiver" program:  http://www.abac.edu/funding-my-education/neighbor-waivers-2.

Upload submissions as directed per genre. Multiple submissions of the same genre are not accepted, but simultaneous submissions are welcome as long as the artist or author withdraws the piece from consideration by Pegasus the moment it is accepted elsewhere.

A cover letter with contact information (address, phone) is required for all submissions and should be included in the appropriate box on the submission page. Cover letters should include a short 3-5 sentence biographical statement (in third person).

Teachers, Please Note:

If you are interested in bulk submissions of student work, please contact Pegasus advisory editor Rachael Price at rprice@abac.edu.

Please see http://www.abac.edu/pegasus for updates.

Submissions close February 28, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.

Note:

Submitters will be notified by mid-March, 2024. If your work is chosen for publication, it will appear in the Spring 2024 issue.
